ABOUT NM TECH TALKS
In 2024, Techqueria NM and Google Developers Group Albuquerque came together to create "TechFest." In 2025, we expanded our large event to include NMClimate, HealthInno and New Mexico Startup Factory. That event sparked the need for a collaborative, where organizations can co-host and plan events together, building a unified ecosystem in New Mexico.
NM Tech Talks is a collaborative of tech organizations working together to bring an inclusive tech community in New Mexico. Our mission is to unify tech organizations in NM and break down silos between groups via co-branded events and initiatives.
We have two large events we host every year: Desert Dev Lab software hackathon and our TechFest conference. In the spirit of collaboration, we also spearhead New Mexico Tech Week, with TechFest acting as the central, flagship event.
